ABOUT THE LOST LENDING LIBRARY

The Lost Lending Library is a magical travelling library that celebrates books and the journeys they take us on. Landing at the Drapers’ Hall, visitors are invited inside one of the library’s many departments. Filled with books and curiosities, one empty shelf waits for new stories. ACCESS There will be a live BSL interpreted session on Tuesday 2 November at 4pm and a relaxed performance on Wednesday 3 November at 4pm. The Lost Lending Library is fully wheelchair accessible. The Lost Lending Library will be a magical multi-sensory experience. We are preparing more information and a visual guide for children with Special Educational Needs. FOR SCHOOLS From Monday 1 to Friday 5 November, children from Years 2 to 6 are invited to visit The Lost Lending Library for a school trip like no other.  Children will learn the power of storytelling and develop their literacy and oracy skills, and their experience can inspire future lessons at school.
