‘Fantastic', 'amazing' and 'such a fun experience' are just some of the reactions at Coventry Glides.   There’s still plenty of time to skate around this winter wonderland in Coventry Cathedral Ruins – open until 9 Jan – but tickets are going fast. The perfect day out with family or friends, book in advance to secure your ideal session during the peak season. Skate hire is included in your ticket price. Don't forget you can warm up after your skate with food and drinks from our fabulous local suppliers, and for non-skaters you can always grab a drink and watch the others whizz (or slide!) by. Coventry Glides is open to anyone over 5, with penguin or whale-shaped skate aids available for children to hold onto. Under 12s must be accompanied by a skating adult. FIND OUT MORE & BOOK TICKETS Make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your skate time to give yourself plenty of time to get your skates on and join the ice. Each session lasts one hour, which includes 40 minutes of skating time. Food and drink offer not available at all sessions. Watch as skaters take to the rink and share their excitement in our 2021 trailer ACCESSIBLE SKATING SESSIONS   We want everyone to enjoy skating in the ruins during this festive period. Coventry Glides Accessible Skating sessions offer improved access for those who require it, including fewer people on the ice; quieter music; and ear defenders available. Access stewards will also be working at these sessions. Wheelchair users are welcome on the ice at all ice skate sessions.
