Live in the LibraryWe're incredibly excited to announce our first live evening event back in libraries!
In the run up to Christmas we wanted to bring you a real treat so we have invited two multi poetry slam-winning poets to perform some of their work for an evening that promises to be fun, insightful and incredibly enjoyable.
Join us for Unslammed - we're giving our poets free rein to perform whatever they want to amuse, tantalise and entertain us.
Brenda Read-Brown – an amazing poet who has previously visited us at City Central Library. Brenda is a veritable poetry powerhouse - her blood group is B positive so she just can’t help herself!
Nick Degg – a superb poet and a Stoke-on-Trent local who describes himself as having a comedic mouth and rock n roll feet.
Date: Friday 10 December 2021 Time: 7pm Location: City Central Library, Hanley Tickets: £3 per person (includes refreshments)
£3 for an evening out, with refreshments? Sounds like a pretty good deal to us!
To book tickets for this event you can contact City Central Library directly via phone – 01782 238455 or via email central.library@stoke.gov.uk
Safety The safety of our customers and our staff is absolutely paramount so we have made a few changes to our usual event procedure to keep everyone safe:
