As LGBT+ History month comes to an end, we have looked back at the success of Healthy Sandwell's grant funding for the LGBTQ+ community.
We were delighted to meet Piero from Proud Baggies where the group has used funding to set up Proud Baggies FC - an inclusive football club which will provide a safe and welcoming space for people to play football, regardless of age, ability, sexuality or gender.
This year's LGBT+ History month theme is medicine and we are very proud to support community groups to improve health and wellbeing in the LGBTQ+ community.
Grants have also funded initiatives including counselling sessions for individuals, the setting up of support groups, cycling groups, coffee mornings and live music evenings.
