Groups and charities in Worcester are invited to apply for funding before the end of the summer.
Worcester City Council has announced a new round of applications for community grants through the One Worcester Communities Grants scheme, inviting bids on a ‘first come, first served’ basis before the closing date of July 31, 2024.
Applicants can apply for a maximum of £2000 towards a project, which must be match-funded.
Applications will then be assessed by officers against criteria which supports the delivery of the Worcester City Plan, which aims to work with residents and stakeholders across Worcester to create a successful, vibrant and sustainable city.
Officers will assess the applications in consultation with the Chair and Vice Chairs of the relevant committee.
Chair of Worcester City Council’s Policy and Resources Committee, Cllr James Stanley said: “We’re offering all qualifying groups a chance to be considered for grant aid and would urge those interested to find out more at www.worcester.gov.uk/community-centres-development/worcester-small-community-grants”
