In March Alison will be talking about her father's writing from his time as a psychologist on the first American Mount Everest expedition in 1963. His memoirs also cover his return to the region 35 years later to find the Sherpa climbers who made his ascent possible. ‘Returned to the scene of the climb’ runs from 6pm to 7pm on Monday 11 March.

Book reading

Alison will be continuing the adult book groups with a reading and presentation from ‘Glide’ her own novel set in Massachusetts. It features Leo Coffin who is making a birthday cake for his wife who is away in Norway when a stranger comes to the door claiming to be her half-brother. What is he to do? This session runs from 1pm to 2pm on Monday 11 March.
