Take part in a range of family-fun activities with researchers from Staffordshire University. Recycle plastic waste into your own deep-sea creatures, go on an archaeological plastic dig, create a masterpiece with community artist Dan Lewis and more!
Enter an 18 metre long sperm whale and be greeted by a cheerful Navigator character who invites you to step inside the Whale. Experience a beautiful, funny and interactive show which will highlight the impact plastic has on our environment through a series of fun learning and theatrical experiences. Free, shows will be on a first come first served basis. 11am, 11.30am, 1pm, 1.30pm, 3pm and 3.30pm.
Children can also recycle plastic waste and with clay turn it into a bug. Let your imagination go wild and see what wonderful bugs you can create. Drop in 11am-12.30pm and 1.30 -3pm. Free.
